ConnectEd Message 1/10

Good evening Ragsdale,

We have some important reminders about in-person exams and entering the building. This information will also be posted on our website.

Our remaining exams will start Monday with 1st block.  The only exams given this week are English 2, Math 1, Math 3, Biology and select Career and Technical Education courses.  You can also check your teachers’ Canvas page for more information.

Students should report to school at 9:30 to begin the screening procedures but no earlier as students will not be allowed in the building.

Students will report directly to their test site upon entering the building.

We will have staff members directing you as you enter.

Because of Covid safety guidelines, students will have to wear a mask and stay 6 feet apart at all times.

Students cannot gather in halls or common areas at any time.

Lunches will be provided to all students between 10 and 10:30 each day in their testing classroom.

Testing will begin at approximately 11:00.

All students will stay in their test site for the entire test.

Testing should end between 3 and 3:30 each day and at that time, students who drive and car riders will be excused.  There will be no early release before this time.

Students riding a bus will remain in class until 4:25 when buses arrive.

Please note that any student who leaves class at 3:30 must leave campus immediately.  So please do not leave class unless you have a way home at that time.

We also have entry guidelines that every student must follow every day.  You must complete the Covid Attestation form and have your temperature checked each day before entering the building.

You can complete the form each day on our website which has a direct link to the form on the main page. This can be done on a computer or on a smart phone.  We will have a paper copy at the door if you have not completed this.

Most importantly, if you answer yes to any of these questions you will not be able to attend school that day and must stay home.   This important for the health and safety of our entire community and is designed to keep everyone as safe as possible.  Again, you must stay at home if you answer yes to any of those questions.  Please help keep Ragsdale safe!

Again, this information is posted on our website and we will provide any updates on Sunday evening. Thank you and enjoy your weekend!
