On Thursday, September 15, 2022, students interested in trying out for the 2022-23 General Greene EBOB Team, should join us in the media center from 2:45 – 3:45 pm! During this meeting students will learn about EBOB and the expectations for being a part of the team! Students must have parental permission and reliable transportation for pick up at 3:45 pm. There will be no bus service available for students participating in this after school activity. Fifteen books are on the EBOB Reading List and students must read and be very detailed oriented to be considered for the team. Weekly meetings (Thursday:2:45- 3:45 pm) begin as a book club type atmosphere but on November 3rd, students will try out for the team – based on their knowledge of the books and rules of the competition. Up to 12 students will be selected to compete with our team. If you are interested, please return this permission slip by Tuesday, September 13th. Students will not be allowed to stay without permission. Parents must also communicate with the student’s teacher that they are staying for this event.
