Weekly Announcements 4/23/23

Good Evening Tiger Families, this is Principal Chase Arrington with announcements for the week of Monday, April 24^th – Friday, April 28^th.

Thank you to those families who attended our Ole School Saturday event yesterday morning. Families had opportunities to play games, watch cartoons with their kids, and enjoy refreshments. We look forward to hosting more events to partner with our community.

6^th Grade will have field trips Tuesday – Thursday. This is a change from last month’s trip. Each team in 6^th grade will go one day. Please reach out to your child’s teachers if you have questions.

Tuesday, April 25^th, we will have our monthly School Leadership/Lighthouse Team Meeting in the media center starting at 3:50pm. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to your grade level parent representative.

Tuesday we will host a Community Town Hall for American Indian Education through the Indian Education Equity & Inclusion Office from 6pm – 8pm.

Athletics This Week:

Monday, April 24^th softball and baseball teams will travel to Kernodle for a game starting at 4:45pm.

Wednesday, April 26^th, Girls/Boys Track will host a meet against Kernodle at 4:45pm.

Thursday, April 27^th, Softball and Baseball will host a game against Kiser at 4:45pm.

Friday, April 28^th, we will have our monthly Lead Breakfast at 8:30am to highlight students for their academic growth, leadership capacity, and character as it relates to our Leader in Me Program and the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens. If your child is nominated, the nominating teacher will reach out with an update.

Please continue to monitor your child’s dress attire as we will continue enforcing the school dress code policy. We appreciate your partnership!
