Here are this week's Shark Tank happenings.
Our students and staff have worked really hard so far this school year and to celebrate their work during 1st quarter we are having Spirit Week along with our Book Fair this week. See below for each day's celebration.
On Monday, students are able to wear something from their favorite sports team.
On Tuesday, we are asking students to Pink Out in honor of Breast Cancer awareness and they may wear their favorite hat. Also on Tuesday, we are hosting Family and Title 1 night from 5 to 7pm. You can come and visit the book fair and learn about how our school is using Title 1 funds this year.
On Wednesday, our K-4 students are having their PBIS celebration and are able to dress as their favorite book character. Our 5th grade students will have their reading benchmark on Wednesday and are able to wear their favorite, school appropriate pajamas. 
On Thursday, our K-4 students are able to wear their favorite, school appropriate pajamas and our 5th graders are able to dress like their favorite book character, as they will have their PBIS celebration. 
On Friday, we are asking everyone to support our school by wearing your favorite Simkins shirt. Friday is also the last day of the grading period so all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will need to have any missing work completed by then.We look forward to seeing you all this Tuesday evening at our Book Fair Family and Title 1 Night from 5 to 7pm!
