Good evening MBSE Parents,
Here are some updates for the week:
EAGLE RUN
Please continue to encourage and support your child in getting sponsorships for the Eagle Run this Friday. Sponsorships can be a dollar amount per minute of running / walking (there will be 35 minutes in total) or they can just be a flat amount. Online sponsorships can be taken at http://rb2.me . Check or cash sponsorships can be recorded on a paper log and turned in on Friday.
We'll recognize students who meet daily challenges over the morning announcements and they'll earn a cool MBSE wristband. We can monitor online donations, but to submit the donations your child has on their donation log for the challenge, text a photo of the log to the PTO at (336) 850-0558 before 6am on the date of the challenge.
MONDAY- At least 1 sponsorship online.
TUESDAY- At least 1 sponsorship on your paper log form.
WEDNESDAY- $35 or more in total sponsorships.
THURSDAY- $100 or more in total sponsorships.
FRIDAY- bring in your envelope. Classes with an average of $35 or more per student will get their choice of an extra recess or pajama day.
If we make our $8,000 goal, Mr. Britt will allow students to tape him to the cafeteria wall during lunch!
ONLINE LITERACY SESSION FOR PARENTS
GCS Parent Academy is offering a live-by-video session for parents for at-home literacy ideas. Parents will learn creative ways to help their child with reading skills at home for Spring Break and beyond. Two sessions will be on April 5th. One from 12-1 or 5:30-6:30. Aquí hay algunas actualizaciones para la semana:
CARRERA DEL ÁGUILA
Continúe alentando y apoyando a su hijo para que obtenga patrocinios para Eagle Run este viernes. Los patrocinios pueden ser una cantidad en dólares por minuto de carrera/caminata (habrá 35 minutos en total) o pueden ser simplemente una cantidad fija. Los patrocinios en línea se pueden obtener en http://rb2.me. Los patrocinios con cheque o efectivo pueden registrarse en un registro de papel y entregarse el viernes.
Reconoceremos a los estudiantes que cumplan con los desafíos diarios durante los anuncios de la mañana y ganarán una pulsera MBSE genial. Podemos monitorear las donaciones en línea, pero para enviar las donaciones que su hijo tiene en su registro de donaciones para el desafío, envíe un mensaje de texto con una foto del registro al PTO al (336) 850-0558 antes de las 6 a. m. en la fecha del desafío.
LUNES- Al menos 1 patrocinio online.
MARTES- Al menos 1 patrocinio en su formulario de registro en papel.
MIÉRCOLES- $35 o más en patrocinios totales.
JUEVES- $100 o más en patrocinios totales.
VIERNES- trae tu sobre. Las clases con un promedio de $35 o más por estudiante podrán elegir entre un recreo adicional o un día de pijama.
Si logramos nuestra meta de $8,000, ¡el Sr. Britt permitirá que los estudiantes lo peguen a la pared de la cafetería durante el almuerzo!
SESIÓN DE ALFABETIZACIÓN EN LÍNEA PARA PADRES
GCS Parent Academy ofrece una sesión en vivo por video para padres con ideas de alfabetización en el hogar. Los padres aprenderán formas creativas de ayudar a sus hijos con las habilidades de lectura en casa durante las vacaciones de primavera y más allá. Dos sesiones serán el 5 de abril.
