Good evening MBSE parents,
Here are a few updates for the week.
PICTURE DAY TOMORROW (WED)
We'll take spring pictures and class pictures tomorrow (Wed 3/29). Every student will bring home proofs in the next several weeks so you can decide whether you want to order. There are no makeups.
NO SCHOOL FRIDAY
Friday is a teacher workday, so there his no school. Thursday is the last student day this week.
BOOK FAIR & SOMEONE SPECIAL LUNCHES
Here's the book fair schedule this week
Wed & Thu mornings: 7:10-7:25
Wed afternoon: 2:10-3:30
Parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles, etc. are invited to have a "someone special" lunch their MBSE student and then visit the book fair. Here's the schedule:
4th Grade - Wednesday 3/29 @ 11:50
5th Grade - Thursday 3/30 @ 11:10
SPIRIT NIGHT
Our next PTO Sprit Night is this coming Monday (4/3). Stop by Uptown Charlie's (5828 N Church St) anytime between 4 and 8. Invite friends and neighbors to do the same. 10% of the proceeds during that time will go to our PTO.
EAGLE RUN
In 10 days, we raised $3,413 for the Eagle Run! That's the first run since before COVID and the first one PTO has run on their own. The total costs were $400 and that included things that the PTO will continue to use beyond just the Eagle Run. So, it was a very profitable venture and one that students and staff thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you for supporting it - we look forward to growing it next year!
5TH GRADERS - PARENT NIGHT AT NE MIDDLE
NE Middle is holding parent night from 5:30-6:30 on Thu 3/30. This is an opportunity to visit the campus, meet the staff, and learn about middle school.

Aquí hay algunas actualizaciones para la semana.
DÍA DE FOTOS MAÑANA (MIÉRCOLES)
Tomaremos fotos de primavera y fotos de clase mañana (miércoles 3/29). Cada estudiante traerá pruebas a casa en las próximas semanas para que pueda decidir si desea hacer un pedido. No hay maquillajes.
VIERNES NO HAY CLASES
El viernes es un día de trabajo del maestro, por lo que no hay escuela. El jueves es el último día del estudiante esta semana.
FERIA DEL LIBRO Y ALMUERZOS ESPECIALES PARA ALGUIEN
Este es el horario de la feria del libro de esta semana
Miércoles y jueves por la mañana: 7:10-7:25
Miércoles por la tarde: 2:10-3:30
Los padres, abuelos, tías/tíos, etc. están invitados a tener un almuerzo de "alguien especial" con su estudiante MBSE y luego visitar la feria del libro. Aquí está el horario:
4to Grado - Miércoles 3/29 @ 11:50
5to Grado - Jueves 3/30 @ 11:10
NOCHE DE ESPÍRITU
Nuestra próxima Noche de Espíritu del PTO es el próximo lunes (4/3). Pase por Uptown Charlie's (5828 N Church St) en cualquier momento entre las 4 y las 8. Invite a amigos y vecinos a hacer lo mismo. El 10% de los ingresos durante ese tiempo irá a nuestro PTO.
CARRERA DEL ÁGUILA
¡En 10 días, recaudamos $3,413 para Eagle Run! Esa es la primera carrera desde antes de COVID y la primera PTO ha corrido por su cuenta. Los costos totales fueron de $400 y eso incluyó cosas que el PTO continuará usando más allá de Eagle Run. Por lo tanto, fue una empresa muy rentable y que los estudiantes y el personal disfrutaron mucho. Gracias por apoyarlo, ¡esperamos que crezca el próximo año!
5TO GRADO - NOCHE DE PADRES EN NE MIDDLE
NE Middle está llevando a cabo una noche de padres de 5:30 a 6:30 el jueves 3/30. Esta es una oportunidad para visitar el campus, conocer al personal y aprender sobre la escuela intermedia.
