Do parents of students in Choice Schools & Programs have special obligations?

If a child is accepted into one of our Choice Schools & Programs, and the student is registered at the school, the parent is making a commitment to keep their child in that program for one full school year. Also, Choice Schools & Programs parents and guardians are expected to play an active role in their child's education. Choice Schools & Programs students are expected to have good attendance and to arrive at school on time. Excessive unexcused tardies and/or absences could cause the student's placement to be rescinded.

¿Tienen obligaciones especiales los padres de estudiantes en Escuelas Magnet?

Si un estudiante es aceptado en una de nuestras escuelas magnet y el estudiante es registrado en la escuela, el padre se compromete a mantener a su hijo en ese programa durante un año escolar completo. Además, se espera que los padres y tutores de las Escuelas Magnet desempeñen un papel activo en la educación de sus hijos. Se espera que los estudiantes de las Escuelas Magnet tengan buena asistencia y lleguen a la escuela a tiempo. Las tardanzas y/o ausencias injustificadas excesivas podrían revocar el cupo del estudiante.
