Four Ways to Connect with GCS’ Superintendent

GCS’ new superintendent, Sharon Contreras, Ph.D., wants input from as many students, families and community members as possible as she prepares to develop GCS’ next strategic plan, which will set a path for GCS in the years to come.

There are four different ways the community can share their thoughts with Contreras, including attending a Listen and Learn Session, taking an online survey, sending feedback and questions or hosting a backyard chat.

The first Listen and Learn Session will be held tonight at Dudley High, 1200 Lincoln Street, in Greensboro. Each session will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Community members who can’t attend the session at Dudley are encouraged to attend one of the nine other sessions listed below:

  • Sept. 21 at Foust Elementary, 2610 Floyd Street, Greensboro
  • Oct. 3 at Ragsdale High, 1000 Lucy Ragsdale Drive, Jamestown
  • Oct. 5 at Penn-Griffin School for the Arts, 825 Washington Street, High Point
  • Oct. 10 at Colfax Elementary, 9112 West Market Street, Colfax
  • Oct. 17 at Grimsley High, 801 Westover Terrace, Greensboro
