*Attention all Page juniors and seniors: Are you interested in painting your parking spot? The Page Principal Advisory Council is holding a fundraiser for the United Way. They are selling the opportunity to paint your parking spot for $50. More information and the application are available in the commons during all 3 lunches Monday the 14th through Friday the 18th. Applications to join the Principal’s Advisory Council will also be available during lunches in the office.
*The Best Christmas Pageant Ever – Auditions will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 16 & Thursday, Oct. 17th from 4-7pm in room 911. A 1minute memorized monologue is required!
*To kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month the service learning club invites everyone to wear pink on Monday for Page Pirates go Pink. So, let’s all support this worthy cause. The service learning club will have a table in the commons during all 3 lunch periods starting today, Monday, Oct. 7th. They will be selling pink wristbands.
* Attention seniors! It is time to pre-order your class of 2020 shirt. T-shirt are $16, long sleeve shirts are $19, crewneck sweatshirts are $25, and hoodies are 430. Please ask your English teacher for an order form or see Mrs. Huffine in room 406. Pre-order sales will only run through Friday, Nov. 1st, so don’t delay.
*Seniors- if you need to take the required CPR certification needed for graduation, there will be a session o Wednesday, Oct. 16th from 9am-10am in the main gym. There is a signup sheet in the main office.
*Students interested in joining NTHS should see Ms. Dean (rm 302) or Ms. Yancey (rm 304) for an application & requirements. Applications & dues must be turned in by Oct. 18th.
* GAP will be here on Oct. 23rd during 5th period to present about their program interested juniors and seniors should see Ms. Yancey by Oct. 17 to sign up to attend.
*Today’s Spotlight is on Hispanic Culture is the language. There are more than 400 million people in the world whose first language is Spanish making it No.2 behind Chinese (No. 1) and ahead of English (No.3).
