Congratulations to the EMC Chess Club for its showing at the Guilford County Chess Tournament. Mr. Espinoza, the advisor and coach for the club, took seven students to Southwest HS on Saturday January 29th, to compete in their FIRST chess tournament.
The day was successful for the fledgling club--most students won at least ONE game. Amrika Nie Adrong took home third place in the tournament.
