Moodle is an online information system where students can find their class syllabus, assignments and any announcements the instructor may make. Also, usually GRADES are posted on Moodle. WebAdvisor allows students to view their schedule, grades, and unofficial transcript. The same user name and password is used for both Moodle and WebAdvisor. If your student has forgotten their user name or password, they may be able to reset it themselves. If not, they will have to request assistance from the help desk attendants in the AT Computer Lab. They must have a picture ID to reset their password. Almost all of the college instructors use Moodle to communicate with their students.
It is MANDATORY that your student checks Moodle at least twice a day. We are also requesting that at least one of these times be with the parent. This will help you to stay on top of your child’s assignments, grades, time management etc.
In addition to checking Moodle on a regular basis, students should also log into their Titan email. This email server is the one college professors use to communicate with students. Many professors are not accepting emails from non GTCC emails. The username and password is the same as the Moodle login.
