The Technology Services Department of Guilford County Schools provides, coordinates, and supports a wide range of services and opportunities for the students and staff of the district. The department is responsible for installation, maintenance, and on-going replacement of all computing devices. It provides high-speed network access to the Internet, email, and server-based applications. Network design, server configuration, software testing and deployment, help desk support, web development, Intranet applications, training, network security, and cabling infrastructure are provided by certified technicians on staff.
Technology Services is also responsible for the programming and operation of major business applications, including payroll, finance, purchasing, cafeteria management, budget, bus routing, and employee data.
